چکیده

Abstract In this paper we introduce a new public Einstein-Boltzmann solver, MGCLASS II , built as modification of the publicly available CLASS code, that allows to obtain cosmological observables in Modified Gravity theories. It implements several commonly used parameterizations deviations from General Relativity, computing their impact on growth structure well background evolution Universe, together with subset alternative theories, still not completely ruled out by observations. is such way be compatible parameter estimation codes MontePython and Cobaya . We exploit possibility constrain Planck collaboration, order validate predictions newly implemented parameterization (z_flex) which has different features. For former find good agreement results existing literature, while present original constraints parameters latter, finding no significant deviation standard model, ΛCDM.

Study of a Restricted Modified Gravity on astrophysical and cosmological scales

We investigate the astrophysical implications of the model by using the corresponding gravitational potential. By using the weight function of the weak lensing , for the model,...

Cosmological singularities and modified theories of gravity

We consider perturbative modifications of the Friedmann equations in terms of energy density corresponding to modified theories of gravity proposed as an alternative route to comply with the observed accelerated expansion of the universe. Assuming that the present matter content of the universe is a pressureless fluid, the possible singularities that may arise as the final state of the universe...

Cosmological constraints on f ( R ) gravity theories within the Palatini approach

We investigate f (R) theories of gravity within the Palatini approach and show how one can determine the expansion history, H(a), for an arbitrary choice of f (R). As an example, we consider cosmological constraints on such theories arising from the supernova type Ia, large scale structure formation and cosmic microwave background observations. We find that best fit to the data is a non-null le...
